VEGAS! THE SHOW is a musical production at Saxe Theater inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood that celebrates the history and classic entertainment style of Las Vegas. Written by producer David Saxe, the show begins in a fictional Neon Boneyard, where a caretaker named Ernie brings the city’s legendary signs and entertainment history back to life. Glamorous showgirls, Broadway-style singers, dancers and a live big band guide audiences through musical eras associated with Las Vegas icons such as The Rat Pack, Elvis Presley, Gladys Knight & The Pips and Tom Jones. Rather than relying on direct celebrity impersonations, the production pays tribute to the performers, music and spectacle that helped establish Las Vegas as the Entertainment Capital of the World. Audiences can expect elaborate costumes, large musical numbers and a nostalgic journey through vintage Vegas showmanship.
