Sweet is a British glam rock band formed in London in 1968 and recognized as one of the defining acts of the 1970s glam era. The classic lineup of Brian Connolly, Steve Priest, Andy Scott, and Mick Tucker combined pop hooks, hard-rock guitars, high-register harmonies, and theatrical style on enduring hits including “The Ballroom Blitz,” “Fox on the Run,” “Little Willy,” “Block Buster!,” “Action,” and “Love Is Like Oxygen.” The North American touring lineup continues performing that catalog while preserving the concert legacy developed by founding bassist Steve Priest.
