KAMELOT is a Tampa-founded symphonic metal band known for combining power-metal drive, gothic atmosphere, progressive detail and cinematic orchestration. Formed by guitarist Thomas Youngblood in 1991, the multinational group features vocalist Tommy Karevik, bassist Sean Tibbetts, keyboardist Oliver Palotai and drummer Alex Landenburg. Its defining releases include Epica, The Black Halo, Silverthorn, Haven and The Awakening, while fan favorites such as “When the Lights Are Down,” “Forever” and “The Haunting (Somewhere in Time)” showcase the band's theatrical sound and prominent guest collaborations. The band's 2026 chapter centers on its 14th studio album, Dark Asylum, and an immersive world tour built around the record.
