Bear McCreary est un compositeur et musicien américain récompensé aux Emmy et BAFTA, nominé aux Grammy, connu pour mélanger orchestre, instruments folk, électronique et rock lourd dans des films, séries télévisées, jeux vidéo et performances en direct. Parmi ses principales réalisations, on compte Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, Outlander, The Lord of the Rings : The Rings of Power, Godzilla : King of the Monsters, God of War et God of War Ragnarök. En dehors de la musique pour l'écran, il a créé The Singularity, un projet multimédia rock symphonique qui a réuni des collaborations avec Slash, Serj Tankian, Corey Taylor, Rufus Wainwright et d'autres artistes reconnus.
